Nutrition garden activities with patients at Lumbini and Pavlov hospitals, Kolkata, implemented by DRCSC

DRCSC has introduced Nutrition Garden in Lumbini Park and Pavlov Mental Hospital in collaboration with Anjali with the engagement of selected participants of mental hospital. The aim of this initiative is to ensure quality educational session of Nutrition Garden in mental hospital by making the environment more learners friendly. Gardening activities provide wide range of learning opportunities and any tiny activities can be turned into valuable learning process and it also improve the mental health and physical health. Science proved that, interact with the plant both indoor and outdoor is beneficial to physical and mental health. Anyone of any age and skill level can enjoy the benefits of gardening and surrounding him or herself with nature and also work on Horticulture therapy.
